Composer Gregory Butler has created music for some of the most recognizable shows in unscripted television, including Punk’d, Project Runway, Top Chef, The Real Housewives of (OC, NY and Atlanta). Signature pieces are also featured on the Top Chef and Project Runway soundtracks.
Butler currently has two shows on the air with the world famous Jim Henson Company (Good Morning Today and Jim Henson's Creatureshop Challenge) as well as GSN's 'It Takes Church'.
A longtime music composer and producer, Butler has worked on over 65 albums for indie and major labels, genre-hopping music styles including Americana, Alternative and Hip Hop. His credits include Scissor Sisters, Train, Daniel Lanois, Ashley Simpson, Dweezil Zappa and many others.
As a parallel career, Butler has served as an executive at several audio/technology companies including Native Instruments and Steinberg. He was also a principal and the Managing Director of PCAudioLabs, an audio specific PC manufacturer that became the system of choice for artists (Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton), broadcast (Harpo, WGBH) and technology partners (Intel, Kingston). PCAudioLabs flagship line, the 'Rok Box' is currently available at over 250 retailers in the US and was nominee at the 27th annual TEC Awards.
