Murray Diagle
Music & Audio Expert

There are few writers, producers and mixers working in Canada that have the experience and track record of MDS Recording’s Murray Daigle. For nearly 20 years, his production and mixes have been playing on radio and TV in Canada and around the world. In the past two years, Murray has written, produced and mixed five hit songs earning him a SOCAN #1 Award, Certified Gold records, a MuchMusic MMVA nomination and a Canadian Radio Music Award nomination.

Murray co-wrote the major singles, Keshia Chante’s “I Miss U” and Neverest’s “The Chase,” which picked up huge momentum at Canadian radio.

Murray’s music catalogue is being licensed for multiple TV and film placements. He is definitely not a newcomer to the music industry. He began as an artist signing his first recording contract with Toshiba-EMI (Japan) in 1992 at the age of 20 and signed five more recording and licensing deals over the following eight years. During this period, he opened his landmark studio, MDS Recording, and began producing records for hundreds of independent Canadian artists, ultimately leading to developing and producing some of Canada’s biggest pop, punk and rock artists including Not By Choice (Maple Music/ Fontana), Cauterize (Wind-Up/BMG), Mudmen (Sextant/EMI/Roadrunner Aus), Mugshot (Fontana North) and The Fullblast (Blackbox/Universal).

Murray Daigle owns and operates MDS Recording and is the music supervisor and producer at Agency 71 Productions. His artists include Neverest, Ty Wilson, Amanda Thomson and Rachel Bawn.
