Eric Nolot , IMSTA France Eric Nolot has been involved in the music and audio industries for over 20 years. As a guitarist and composer, he worked with major artists in France and toured with artists such as Julien Clerc, Louis Chedid, Jean-Jacques Goldman, etc. He has also worked as a product demonstrator for Korg, Fender, and Marshall in the early nineties and more recently for VOX. Eric was also the co-founder of BackStage Music SA that became the leading Pro Audio Dealer in Paris between 1992 and 1998. Eric is currently the Marketing Director at MacMusic/440Network and the President of DontCrack Inc. DontCrac[k] is the only audio software store totally dedicated to supporting small but great audio developers and selling their products online via instant downloads.

That is surely a huge contribution to the fight against piracy as no one can say: "I downloaded a crack because I needed the product right away".

Eric got involved with IMSTA a few years ago as he thinks such an organization is very useful for the industry. “Educating end-users and particularly the young generation about the dark sides of software piracy is very important”, says Eric. DontCrac(k) has been hosting IMSTA’s forum for open discussions. Anyone can join the forum and say what is on his/her mind.

After a few years of unofficially helping IMSTA, Eric has formally taken on the difficult task of promoting IMSTA's message in France.
