IMSTA JAPAN - 2007 RECAP

Those of you who have been following the progress of IMSTA Japan know that this team has accomplished so much in so little time. Here is a recap of the activities of IMSTA Japan since its inception in July 2007.

IMSTA Japan held its first meeting on July 24th, 2007 at the Apple Japan seminar room. Many industry leading companies participated in this meeting and showed their support for IMSTA and its agenda.

Shortly after that, the first committee was set and the executive board was Chosen as follows:

Several magazines such as PROSOUND, MUSICTRADE, and DTM, along with many online news sites have also shown their support for IMSTA by covering the activities of IMSTA Japan.

In September, IMSTA Japan translated the IMSTA web site to Japanese and launched the IMSTA Japan web site - http://www.imsta.org/japan. During the same month, the IMSTA brochure was translated, printed, and distributed to the public at Music Instruments Fair, InterBEE Convention, and Synthesizer Festa.
