IMSTA PIRACY SURVEY: Contest Winners
We are finally ready to announce the winners of the 2008 IMSTA Survey contest. The reason it took us some time to announce the winners is that we did not wish to randomly give away the prizes. Instead, we made sure that only those who took the time to type useful feedback for our industry would have a chance to win. Therefore we read all the comments, picked the most useful ones, and randomly picked the winners from amongst them. Additionally, we had originally announced that the contest would have only 5 winners. However, after reading the comments, we have decided to double the number of winners to 10. Winners ...

IMSTAR OF THE MONTH: SudeepAudio.com - Donates a Percentage of Each Software Sale ...
To raise IMSTA India’s profile and to promote the IMSTA message, SudeepAudio.com, which is India's largest music software distributor, will be donating a portion of each legitimate software sale to “GiveIndia” in the effort to help raise funds for India’s poorest of the poor. We believe this ongoing and generous promotion deserves a star. That is why SudeepAudio.com is the IMSTAR of the month of May.
MEMBERSHIPS: To Join Up or Renew Your Membership

IMSTA is the best and only advocacy program the music software industry currently has for fighting piracy. We are fighting piracy on levels that go beyond the obvious. We are trying to change behavior. In order to do this we need a few simple things done by tens of thousands of people - yes, you are one of them. To start, we need you to join IMSTA. To do this, fill out our Membership Application Form. Next we do need you to pay your membership dues for 2008. This is a small but vital contribution that you will make to our campaign. We use your money to pay for the things that we can't get volunteers to do. If you haven't paid yet, please do it now. Finally, we need you to begin the process of implementing the program in the Industry Member's Guide. For starter, put the IMSTA Badge on your web site. This is as easy as 1, 2, 3. One thing for sure is that we cannot succeed without you. |
See you next month.
